Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Lead to drive data-informed decision-making, streamline reporting processes and manage strategic projects while being hands-on with technical BI development. This role requires a blend of leadership, technical expertise and stakeholder engagement to ensure the business is leveraging data effectively.
You’ll be responsible for building end-to-end BI solutions, managing the data strategy and sharing insights. The role will suit someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You’ll be working across all business functions in particular Finance and E-commerce teams while we transform and grow the business together – it's an exciting time to join.
Key Responsibilities
1. BI Development & Automation
2. Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
3. Develop and optimise data processes in SQL and Databricks
4. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards using DAX & Power Query
5. Develop actionable insights for senior leadership to support business decisions
6. Facilitate the reporting strategy and streamline data automation
7. Support the KPI framework and business performance reporting
8. Troubleshoot and resolve data automation issues
9. Define and prioritise data and technical initiatives to align with business strategy
10. Lead and oversee cross-functional projects, ensuring smooth execution
11. Collaborate with Finance to support strategic decision-making
12. Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication
Process Optimisation & Stakeholder Engagement
1. Document and improve key business processes to increase efficiency
2. Identify gaps, implement new workflows, and support change management initiatives
3. Work closely with stakeholders across different departments to drive data-driven improvements
Key Skills & Experience
1. Strong SQL, Power BI (DAX & M Query) and Azure Data Factory experience
2. Strategic thinking with a track record of aligning data insights with business needs
3. Good project management and stakeholder engagement abilities
4. Experience in process improvement and reporting automation
5. Great communication and problem-solving skills
6. Python/Databricks experience would be beneficial
7. Experience within a Retail or Fashion business would be an advantage
