What is the Role:
The UK Portfolio Management Unit (UK PMU) supports the AIB UK business strategy by providing timely analysis and MI related to the credit portfolio and driving forward looking analysis and insight.
This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and self-motivation, and will provide practical experience within our small team to a range of credit risk and strategic concepts. The role will give opportunities to work on high profile projects within the Bank and exposure to seniormittees and stakeholders.
Key accountabilities;
4. Analysing and interpreting credit portfolio data and external data, supporting a range of asset quality and performance monitoring activities (for example, to support ongoing enhancement of Early Warning Indicators)
5. Can demonstrate a track record of delivery, and the willingness to learn from peers and apply previous experience and knowledge to bring forward looking and innovative thinking to the role
6. Establishing collaborative relationships across UK and ROI functions to develop and deliver on reporting solutions on enterprise wide internal projects as the face of UK PMU and external regulatory reporting
7. Interpretingplex data analysis requirements and leveraging the data warehouse or dashboards to identify and build appropriate solutions
What you Will Bring;
8. A Bachelor's degree in a Business, Economics or similar discipline
9. Minimum of 3 years of experience with a financial servicespany
10. Can demonstrate an understanding of risk management and familiarity with lending / credit risk principles and concepts
11. Strong demonstrable ability to craft a story around data and contribute content towards seniormittees and board/regulatory papers
12. Strongmunication (both written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills, including an ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences to deliver high quality and well-controlled reporting solutions
13. Strong demonstrable experience of manipulating data to draw insights by using various tools (Excel, Qlikview, Tableau, etc.) to analyseplex datasets, draw conclusions, and present insights/findings/solutions
14. Knowledge of SQL/SAS/databases (automation, report generation, root cause analysis, writingplex queries) is advantageous but not essential
