SEN Teaching Assistant Full-Time — Location: Borehamwood — Daily Rate: £85–£110 (depending on experience) — Start Date: ASAP

A welcoming and specialist school in Borehamwood is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. The school supports students with autism and complex needs, offering a caring environment enriched by excellent multidisciplinary support.
What the role involves
This is a full-time position ideal for someone who is empathetic, proactive, and ready to contribute to a supportive learning environment. Whether you’re experienced in SEN or looking to start your journey, you’ll be well supported by a knowledgeable team.
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with autism and other needs
* Support the delivery of personalised learning and therapy activities
* Help develop pupils social, communication, and life skills
* Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
* Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and families
* Assist with personal care where appropriate
* Maintain accurate records and help monitor student progress
What we’re looking for
* Previous SEN experience is desirable
* Calm, patient, and compassionate approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Eagerness to learn and take part in training
* Dependable, flexible, and committed to inclusive practices
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
