You'll get to know residents and their families to help deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness is paramount.
Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you'll provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administer medication.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key aspects of the role.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent and be willing to work towards Level 3. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, good record-keeping skills, and effective time management are essential. Communication with residents and colleagues should always be considerate and kind.
