Job Description
3. Overall financial responsibility for our UK operations.
4. Preparation of monthly management accounts, variance reporting and uploading to group
5. Production of timely and accurate financial reports for senior management and stakeholders
6. Providing financial insight and recommendations to support business
7. Overseeing statutory accounts preparation in line with UK GAAP
8. Ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements including VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax, and statutory filings.
9. Acting as a key point of contact for external auditors, accountants, and tax advisors
10. Overseeing of Company Secretary duties, supported by company solicitors.
11. Managing cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
12. Developing and maintain robust financial controls and processes
13. Ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial governance standards
14. Leading annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
15. Supporting long-term financial planning and cash flow forecasting
The Successful Applicant
16. Qualified accountant
17. Proven expertise in financial management within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
18. Strong commercial and financial acumen
19. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
20. Highly organized, hands-on, and results focused.
21. A track record of initiating, driving, developing, and implementing financial strategies and plans
22. Ability to coach develop and manage a small finance team
23. Technically strong be fully conversant with UK accounting standards and financial reporting regulations
24. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
25. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
