Property Maintenance Manager Overview
Our client is looking for a Property Maintenance Manager to join their growing team.
The Property Maintenance Manager will be responsible for supporting the Company’s property portfolio and property budgets.
Property Maintenance Manager Responsibilities
1. Plan and manage preventative maintenance across all company-owned and leased properties, ensuring routine upkeep is carried out efficiently.
2. Monitor day-to-day maintenance issues and ensure they are resolved promptly.
3. Conduct building surveys and produce detailed technical reports for both planned and reactive works.
4. Prepare specifications for identified repairs or defects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
5. Source and appoint suitable contractors, overseeing projects from start to completion to ensure quality standards are met.
6. Monitor costs and ensure all spending remains within approved budgets, following company financial procedures.
7. Review and manage invoices in line with approval processes.
8. Liaise with consultants, landlords, and other stakeholders to ensure all regulatory and project requirements are met.
9. Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and prioritise tasks accordingly.
10. Provide out-of-hours support for emergency situations when required.
11. Assist the New Stores team with property-related requirements.
12. Undertake any additional duties as needed.
Requirements
13. Previous experience in surveying, construction, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
14. Experience in property maintenance is advantageous.
15. Willingness to undertake further training and development.
16. Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations, including risk assessments and method statements
