We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and motivated individual to work closely with the Care Manager and take a leading role within our senior care team.
At Bridgemead, we're looking for an experienced, dynamic, and motivated Care Facilitator (Deputy) to work closely with our Care Manager and play a key leadership role within our senior care team.
Bridgemead is a 32-bed residential care home, beautifully located by the river in the heart of Bath. We provide dedicated care for residents living with dementia and offer respite care within a warm, family-like environment.

Responsibilities:
* Provide high quality, professional service of care to our residents;
* Ensure all staff are trained for their roles and responsibilities;
* Make sure that all duties are covered when there are unexpected absences;
* Manage the care and well-being of all the residents, including hands-on personal care when required;
* Assist with recruitment, management and development of staff along with the manager, this includes taking part in appraisals;
* Manage complaints from residents and staff issues that need to be escalated to the manager;
* Responsible for the management of the care plan system;
* In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, you are required to perform other duties assigned by your manager from time to time that are within your capabilities.
About you:
* You need to be someone who enjoys working with older people and can have empathy with them;
* You will preferably have an accreditation in Health & Social care at level 3 or above;
* You must have experience in deputising for the manager and leading care team;
* You will have experience dealing with safeguards, complaints and covering the home in the Managers absence etc.
* You must be willing to both lead shifts and take a "hands on" role as required; and
* You need to be able to work in a team and be willing to take on any task to provide an excellent level of care to our residents.

Full-time: 40 hours per week across 5 days
