Linlithgow Academy is a six-year comprehensive school offering our 1265 students in the Linlithgow Area a progressive, relevant, challenging and enjoyable curriculum with opportunities for personalisation and choice. We strive to ensure that students have the highest quality learning experiences.
The senior leadership team comprises the Head Teacher, three Depute Head Teachers and the Area Business Support Manager. Linlithgow Academy is well supported by the parent council and there are positive partnerships with local community groups.
We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Science Technician to work in our science faculty. Your duties will include the maintenance of the Science laboratories, construction of simple apparatus, maintenance of stock records, preparation of materials for class use, complying with Health and Safety legislation including the review and update of risk assessments and general Science Technician duties. The position will require good organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload.
