Salary: Up to £25,000 + 10% annual bonus + benefits package
* Friendly, supportive team environment with varied day-to-day tasks
* Opportunity to gain experience across multiple departments including underwriting, claims, and facilities
* Hybrid role with 60% homeworking and 40% in Bristol
About the role
We’re looking for a confident and organised Administrator to join our friendly team in Bristol on a fixed-term basis. This hybrid role combines front-of-house reception duties with administrative support to our Underwriting and Operations teams. You’ll work two days a week in the office, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and contractors, creating a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth office operations.
When not managing reception, you'll support our internal teams with tasks such as processing No Claims Discount requests, logging surveys, and handling documentation within our systems like Policy Centre and iFaces. You'll collaborate with colleagues across Underwriting, Loss Control, Commercial, and Claims to maintain efficiency behind the scenes.
This role offers a supportive, collaborative environment where no two days are the same. Whether greeting visitors, managing post and supplies, or assisting with admin processes, you'll be integral to supporting the Regional Service Centre and daily operations.
The position is based in our Bristol Regional Service Centre. We promote work-life balance by offering excellent facilities and support for up to 60% remote working.
About you
We're seeking an organised, reliable individual who enjoys being at the center of a busy team. You should be confident managing diverse tasks—from greeting visitors to supporting colleagues with admin work. Pride in delivering excellent service, responsiveness to queries, system upkeep, and efficient post management are essential.
You should bring a positive attitude, be able to juggle priorities calmly, and work well with others in a collaborative environment.
* Experience in operational support (insurance experience is desirable)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Attention to detail to ensure smooth operations
* Customer-focused, proactive problem solver
* Team player willing to assist others
