A well-established regional law firm is seeking an Associate to join its Dispute Resolution team based in Sussex, with a particular emphasis on Technology, Media and Telecommunications matters. The firm advises a broad client base ranging from individuals to national and international businesses across a wide range of commercial and contentious practice areas.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior Lawyers while managing their own caseload under appropriate supervision. The role also involves contributing to larger and more complex matters as part of a wider team.
Key objectives include delivering high-quality client service, supporting business development initiatives, and supervising junior team members where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing a personal caseload of dispute resolution matters, meeting agreed revenue and performance targets
2. Supporting Partners and Senior Associates on complex and high-value disputes
3. Delivering consistently high standards of client care
4. Supervising and delegating work to paralegals and trainees as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience required:
5. Qualified Solicitor with 1–6 years’ PQE in Commercial Dispute Resolution
6. Experience in IP, IT or TMT disputes is advantageous
7. Ability to manage competing deadlines and workloads effectively
8. Excellent client communication and relationship-management skills.
