What You’ll Do: Account Management: build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the rail industry, ensuring alignment with their digital transformation objectives. Business Development: identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our footprint in the UK rail market. Solution Selling: collaborate with technical and project teams to develop tailored digital solutions that address client needs. Revenue Growth: develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets. Stakeholder Engagement: act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution. Market Analysis: stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging digital technologies relevant to rail. Reporting Duties: Report directly to the Senior Director of IoT Practice – Rail, providing regular updates on sales performance, client developments, and market opportunities. Prepare detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations for executive review. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and client expectations. What You’ll Bring: At least 5 years of experience in sales or account management within the rail and digital sectors. A solid understanding of digital technologies, including IoT, AI, data analytics, and automation, and their applications in the railway industry. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets. Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
