Overview
A vacancy has arisen within the R&D Mechanical Engineering department for an industrial electronic manufacturing company. The successful candidate will work as part of a team and must be able to meet tight deadlines. A proactive approach and enthusiasm to learn are essential.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Design mechanical components in line with internal company standards.
* Experience designing mechanical enclosures for electronics.
* Prepare detailed Test Reports with high levels of accuracy.
* Evaluate new designs for manufacturability and compliance with company standards.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Experience in a comparable industry (desirable).
* Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
* Experience with 2D/3D CAD modelling and prototyping.
* Ability to maintain clear, accurate records and produce high-quality reports.
* Strong understanding of mechanical principles.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
