Smart Connect Research currently has full-time Account Manager opportunities for highly motivated individuals based anywhere in the world but willing to work UK hours. You will be responsible for managing European and North American-based accounts and are expected to grow them through up- and cross-selling strategies. You will focus on client value generation to ensure retention of and growth within key accounts.
THE ROLE
Joining the company, you’ll be managing retained clients to ensure their success and ROI with their services. You’ll have three key focus areas: account management, ensuring our services are aligned with our clients’ needs and managing bid requests.

RESPONSABILITIES
• Managing bid requests and ensuring proper and timely delivery
• Full understanding of project costs and feasibility.
• Support maintenance of existing business by managing contracts and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.
• Actively network within existing client contacts for any new business/ prospects.
• Organising client and internal kick off calls, developing insightful proposals and delivering strategic sales communications.
• Consulting with clients on sample design and business issues - recognises the need to adapt a research approach to meet the client need and works with appropriate internal resources to develop and design the appropriate solution.
• Provide superior client service by working with PMs to execute project specifications and deliver quality (outstanding) results to clients.
• Ensures that all internal team members understand the project specification and anticipated outcomes.
• Collaborates with partners and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Act as a liaison between Sales and Project Managers on all projects.
• Light travel with sales/management to support onsite client visits as well as earn and develop business by presenting capabilities.
