An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised individual to join our team at Plantex UK as our Experienced Irrigation Team Leader. Plantex UK are leading suppliers of technical growing solutions for Irrigation. We work with the UK's top fruit and soft fruit growers as well as providing solutions within the commercial sector and across all sports industries. Plantex strive to offer quality irrigation packages with accurate designs, site specific solutions and full customer support.
This is a busy and diverse role, and you can rest assured that no two days will be the same. The Experienced Irrigation Team Leader role is a key role within the organisation. Whilst initially being a hands-on project management role, there will be room for growth with the company, into a more management only role.
Our projects are very varied and we cover the whole of the UK, so you could be installing a project on a roof top in London or a full golf course installation in York. There is also many smaller jobs and call outs which we have to fit in amongst the larger projects which can include replacement pumps, filters and general repair. You will be expected to manage the work load efficiently with the resources available.
As our Experienced Irrigation Team Leader you’ll be expected to turn your hand to jobs such as:
Project Management
Managing Call Outs & Maintenance Visits
Complete RAMS
Managing Health & Safety on site
Managing on site team
Managing subcontractors and labour
Installing equipment including pumps, rigs, blowers etc.
Problem solving and fault finding.
Communicating with the client
Marking out sites and checking sites for services or obstructions (CAT Scanning)
This role is especially suited for multitaskers who love to balance a variety of tasks.
The successful Experienced Irrigation Team Leader will have:
Experience in Irrigation - Essential
Experience in Project Management - Essential
Experience in People Management - Essential
Valid UK Driving Licence - Essential
You will need to be able to work flexibly, work well as part of a team and be able to manage your own time effectively - Essential
Willing to travel and stay away when required - Essential
Be energetic and innovative - Essential
Valid CSCS Card - Advantageous
Machine Qualifications - Advantageous
You’ll be joining a friendly, close-knit team where your hard work will be rewarded with a generous salary between £40,000 - £60,000 depending experience, Project Bonus Scheme, 20 Days Annual Leave, Company Pension, Food Allowance when staying away, Tools, Clothing & Company Vehicle will also be provided.
