We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Activity Coordinator who will be responsible for offering a range of therapeutic activities to patients in hospital experiencing an acute mental health condition. The role of the activity coordinator is to ensure this is done thoughtfully, creatively and safely within the ward environment.
About The Team
Supported by the ward Occupational Therapist and the Multi Disciplinary Team including nurses, doctors and physical wellbeing practitioners, Activity Coordinators work closely with the 18 inpatients on the ward to run a programme of group and individual activities. You will become part of the internationally renowned South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust by joining a hardworking and compassionate ward team who strive to offer the best care to people at difficult times in their life. About The Role
To facilitate activities for the patients on the ward. Organising therapeutic work, group activities. To work closely with the nursing team and identify any risks involving patient care whilst facilitating activities.

You will be based at Powell Ward, Ladywell Unit, University Hospital Lewisham, Lewisham, London, SE13 6LW.
