Overview
A growing commissioning and water treatment company currently looking to recruit an experienced Pre‑Commissioning Engineer to work on contracts across the South Wales / South West region. The client is a leading provider of commissioning, pre‑commissioning and water treatment services who is seeking a candidate with previous experience undertaking BSRIA flushing duties to both new and existing water systems.

Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience working as a Water Treatment/Pre‑Commissioning Engineer.
* Proven track record of undertaking pre‑commissioning cleans to BSRIA standards.
* Able to work to desired client timescales and troubleshoot on site.
* A current and up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant BSRIA guidelines.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
* Undertaking pre‑commissioning chemical cleans of LTHW & CHW Systems in line with BSRIA.
* Flushing of primary/secondary systems and fan coil units.
* Carrying out disinfections of domestic water services.
* Setting of TMV’s and Hot Water Returns.
* Sampling of water systems and testing water quality.
* Checking flow rates and velocities.
* Working from site plans and schematics.
* Providing witness duties (Desirable).
* Monitoring client’s air and water systems ensuring compliance with current Health and Safety legislation.
* Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance to specifications and relevant Health and Safety / BSRIA legislation.
* Using information from site to produce detailed reports.
* Building a strong professional working relationship with clients.
