Site Operations Manager - Huncoat - £45k - £48k p.a + benefits
As Site Operations Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful leadership and management of the Cross Dock Centre, ensuring high levels of customer service and operational efficiency while maintaining a safe and legal transport operation. Transport Manager CPC is desirable.
This role will be based at our cross dock in Huntingdon - BB5 6NJ.
The Role
As Site Operations Manager, you will:
* Take full responsibility for the successful leadership and management of the Cross Dock Centre, ensuring high levels of customer service and operational efficiency while maintaining a safe and legal transport operation.
* Work 40 hours per week.
* Hold an O Licence for the site.
* Ensure a safe and legally compliant Cross Dock and Transport operation.
* Exemplify the company’s values and behaviors.
* Ensure operating plans, fleet, equipment, and resourcing levels meet demand.
* Focus on customer service, managing performance to improve NPS.
* Adhere to operational processes.
* Meet and exceed operational metrics and standards.
* Manage budget responsibilities to meet financial targets.
* Lead and communicate effectively at all levels.
* Provide innovative solutions for performance improvement.
* Partner with stakeholders for end-to-end Cross Dock optimization.
* Coach and mentor the team, building talent and succession plans.
* Set objectives and conduct performance reviews.
* Identify and implement operational improvements.
What we are looking for
You should have a proven track record in a customer-centric logistics operation as a Warehouse or Transport Operations Manager.
Knowledge & Skills
* Transport Manager CPC is desirable but not essential.
* Effective leader with an organized approach to change management.
* Commercially astute with budget management skills.
* Process management and continuous improvement experience.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
* Resource planning and team performance improvement skills.
