Claire at Amber Mace is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established care provider to recruit an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager for a nursing home in Coventry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and compassionate nurse who has previous experience working within a nursing home environment and is looking to take the next step in their leadership career.
The Role:
As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high standards of clinical care and compliance are consistently met. You will lead by example on the floor, support staff development, and help drive a positive, resident-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the Home Manager with clinical and operational leadership
Leading, mentoring, and supervising nursing and care staff
Ensuring safe, high-quality, and person-centred care at all times
Assisting with audits, care planning, and regulatory compliance
Acting as Nurse in Charge when required
Requirements:
NMC-registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
Proven experience working within a nursing home
Previous senior nurse or deputy-level experience is desirable
Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills
A passion for delivering outstanding care
