Job description
A highly successful and growing business in York is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to cover an initial 12 month maternity leave that could lead to a permanent role.
To be considered you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and have significant experience of producing management accounts, ideally in a multi-entity environment along with the ability to mentor less experienced people in the team.
Key tasks involve:
* Leading on the production of monthly management accounts
* Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the Accounts ledgers
* Maintaining the fixed assets register
* Supporting with subsidiary accounts preparation
* Preparing and reviewing UK and EU VAT returns
* Supporting with systems implementation and process improvement
* Reconciliation of Payment Provider Accounts
* Recording and reconciling Credit Card and Employee expenses
* Financial Analysis and Performance Reporting (KPI Reporting)
* Cost Management
* Supporting with risk identification and mitigation
