The Human Factors Assessor is responsible for:
Undertaking human factors design and safety case assessment, and associated activities, interfacing with engineering, project management, project controls and document management functions.
Acting in any human factors or equivalent role.
Assisting Head of Profession in capability development and establishment and implementation of resource strategies, recruitment plans and competence.
Advises organisation and Client leadership, engineering, programme and project management, and clients (intelligent Customer), on regulatory compliance, standards and guidance.
Ideally hold a Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent education)
Human Factors assessment, and HAZAN production
Experience of a range of nuclear hazard identification and analytical tools
Experience of ergonomics/human factors design
application in a wide range of nuclear operations and fault scenarios
Ability to travel for several days at a time in the UK and occasional overseas travel
Good oral and written communication skills, including presentation and report writing
Experience of UK nuclear site licensing, safety assessment principles, regulatory guidance on safety assessment and nuclear Site Licence Conditions;
Experience in two or more UK Nuclear Site Licensee Organisations;
Experience of Regulatory permissioning/flexible permissioning;
Experience of international nuclear safety assessment;
Project management and project controls skills;
