Manufacturing Test Engineer
This role is based onsite at our HPE office in Erskine, Renfrewshire, with an expectation of five days a week in the office.

Within our Technology Renewal Operations team, we have over 20 years of expertise in sustainable IT equipment management, refurbishing and remarketing preowned technology, from legacy systems to cutting-edge HPE products like Aruba networking solutions.
As a Manufacturing Test Engineer – Network, you will be part of an agile engineering team driving innovation in manufacturing operations. Your focus will be on HPE Network products, supporting them throughout the remanufacturing process, designing efficient processes, and solving complex challenges to meet business and sustainability goals.

This position is in-office in Erskine, Renfrewshire, 5 days a week.
Responsibilities:
1. Accelerate automation and implement corporate-standard testing to optimize processes.
2. Develop and maintain sanitization and testing strategies for inbound and outbound product flows.
3. Manage the introduction and lifecycle of assigned product sets, ensuring seamless operations.
4. Resolve customer issues and develop strategies to mitigate impacts.
5. Analyze data to evaluate performance trends and identify improvements.
6. Ensure process documentation complies with required standards.
7. Represent engineering in cross-functional reviews, providing technical insights and fostering innovation.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology or manufacturing-related engineering discipline or equivalent.
* Typically, 4+ years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Proficiency in Python and Perl for automation and testing scripting.
* Strong networking knowledge, including VLAN, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), troubleshooting, and familiarity with HPE Aruba solutions.
* Understanding of data sanitization techniques and standards.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills, with hardware and electrical components expertise.
* Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation.
* Ability to communicate manufacturing plans and results effectively across management levels.
