Housing Liaison Project Officer (Temporary - 12 Month Contract) - Local Authority
Location: Newham
Pay: £29.50 per hour PAYE
Contract: Temporary (12 months)
Adecco is recruiting Housing Liaison Project Officers to support frontline housing teams within Newham Council and deliver a range of high‑priority projects within Housing Tenancy Services.
These roles will help ensure continuity of service where gaps exist and contribute to a broad portfolio of project‑based work aimed at improving outcomes for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Provide additional housing liaison support where service gaps exist
Deliver project work including estate inspections, garage audits and resident liaison
Support tenant engagement across housing schemes and supported housing
Assist with implementation of action plans and service improvement initiatives
Respond to and monitor service enquiries and shared inboxesAbout You
Experience working in housing, tenancy services or resident-facing roles
Strong communication and organisational skills
Comfortable balancing project work alongside operational support
