Location : Nursery located at Peterborough college
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to be a part of our team here at the Peterborough college nursery
The successful candidate will have a passion for early education and learning and developing little minds, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a diverse group of people. The ideal candidate will have a calm and patient manner, will love working with kids 0-5 years and be familiar with common childhood development milestones.
Within this role you will work as part of a team providing a full range of stimulating activities for children, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met. You will develop a positive relationship with parents/carers and other staff, including being a Key Person and carrying out both developmental activities and care routines.
The role is to work 38 hours per week, Monday – Friday, with hours between 8.00 and 6.00pm, term time only.
Ideally candidates will be Level 3 qualified or above, however we will support you to in your continued professional development and achieving your level 3 childcare qualification. You must also have a good level of general education including Level 2 qualifications in English and maths.
You Additional training in first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding would be beneficial, however could be provided. This role requires flexibility and enthusiasm, as well as a passion to see children achieve their potential.
