Overview
Band 7 Psychotherapist required to join the Berkshire CAMHS West Specialist Community Team, covering Reading, Wokingham, and Newbury. Based at Erlegh House, within the University of Reading grounds. This is a part-time role (four full days or five shorter days).
Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive assessments, therapeutic interventions, and care coordination for children and young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
* Provide individual and family sessions and run reflective clinics.
* Collaborate with schools, social care, and other agencies; contribute to service development.
* Maintain an independently manageable caseload and utilise supervision effectively.
* Support clinical leadership within the team and work within a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency system.
* Participate in audits, research, and continuing professional development; contribute to team development initiatives.
* Provide supervision or training to junior colleagues and other agencies as appropriate.
Requirements
* A qualified or about-to-qualify Family and Systemic Psychotherapist accredited by UKCP.
* A core profession as per the job specification.
* Experience in child, young people, and families mental health services (placements okay).
* A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to reach rural locations.
