What We Do
At our Uphall service, we support vulnerable adults living in their own homes to live their best, most independent lives.
We take a person-centred approach, meaning every individual has their own tailored support plan—and you’ll play a key role in helping them thrive.
This role is for 35 hours per week.
What You’ll Be Supporting With
Every day is different, and you’ll get involved in a wide range of meaningful activities, including:

19. Shopping & daily living tasks
You’ll be helping people build confidence, independence, and life skills—while forming positive, trusting relationships along the way.
What We’re Looking For

21. Able to communicate clearly with people who use different communication styles
22. Passionate about supporting others to grow and succeed
23. A UK driving licence holder (the gentlemen we support have a house vehicle so it'd be great if you can drive!)
When You’ll Work
We provide support Monday–Sunday, including waking night shifts, and as a contracted Support Worker, we do need some flexibility to work different days and different shifts, to ensure fairness for all staff. Our shifts are:
24. 7am - 2.30pm
25. 7.30am - 3pm
26. 2pm - 9.30pm
27. 2.30pm - 10pm
28. 9.30pm - 7.30am (waking night)

We are passionate about our people and every year we invest heavily in our front-line worker pay, in line with the Living Wage increase each April. This means that from 1st April, our payrate for this role will be increasing to £13.86 per hour
