Mechanical Shift Engineer – North London – Immediate Start A large healthcare provider is currently looking for a mechanical engineer to join one of their portfolios in North London. My client based in the facilities maintenance industry is looking for a confident outgoing engineer that can use his/her own initiative to produce results. The position is temporary to permanent opportunity last 3 months on the temporary side.. Salary The rate of pay for this position is up to £28 per hour and an annual salary of £45,000 Work Hours 4 on 4 off Days only, 12 hour shifts 7am to 7pm. Responsibilities and duties * PPM and reactive maintenance * Fault finding and competent to rectify * Regular fire alarm testing and drills. Ensuring the fire equipment is in working order and updating the fire alarm log book * Liaise with management regarding health and safety procedures/issues, ongoing repairs and faults, maintenance and building services. * Assisting with basic fabric duties on site Requirements * Minimum C&G level/NVQ 2 in mechanical engineering OR plumbing * Must be able to obtain a basic DBS * Experience in commercial building services * General maintenance experience * Time served in an apprenticeship is an advantage
