This role will be supporting the leadership team with the office management of the Community Organisation. As a senior admin, you will need to juggle several responsibilities at the same time, whilst being organised and ensuring attention to detail. This is a part time role, based at a local community centre in Borehamwood. For the right candidate, hours will increase as the organisation grows. Starting at 15 hours per week, with potential to increase within the first 3 months.
Responsibilities
Calendar and Website
* Input planned events, enquiries for events, services and use of the centre
* Manage Bar and Bat Mitzvah bookings
* Maintain and update website and internal database with events and programmes
Office
* Maintain email account and any administration for events
* Maintain stock supplies and ordering
* Keep office space organised
* Manage membership
* Oversee cleaning and maintenance team
* Manage CRP system
Requirements
* At least 3 years experience with office admin
* Approachable, organised and efficient
* Computer literate, database experience and proficient in Google Docs
* Proactive, self‑motivated and enthusiastic
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Passionate about working in the local Jewish community and the vision of the Community Organisation
