Role Description:
The Technical Consultant is responsible for various roles in Service Delivery, including solution design, technical implementation, application/business rules configuration, deployment, training, and documentation as part of a larger project team. She/he performs implementation through a structured methodology, ensuring deployment, knowledge transfer, adherence to best practices, and successful go-live. Projects involve both on-site and remote work, providing a dynamic environment.
To meet client and company needs, the Technical Consultant collaborates with the Delivery team and colleagues from Sales, Presales, Customer Success, and Operations.
A Technical Consultant works within a specific domain of expertise, developing across multiple competency dimensions and roles on different projects.
Responsibilities:
* Understand customer requirements and technical architecture, designing solutions accordingly.
* Assist in scope definition, requirements analysis, and design.
* Contribute to technical proposals, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
* Develop user interfaces, databases, and backend logic for system integration with third-party systems like ERPs, WMS, MES, or PLC.
* Perform installation, configuration, deployment, administration, and maintenance of solutions using cloud and/or on-premises infrastructure.
* Create and execute user acceptance testing materials.
* Assist in labeling process and solution consulting.
* Proactively communicate project status, identifying potential roadblocks.
* Coordinate project activities, schedules, and reports.
* Provide third-level technical support on-site and remotely.
* Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.
* Build trustworthy relationships with clients, partners, and Loftware.
Required Qualifications:
* Associate’s degree or equivalent, with 2-3 years in a technology environment.
* Willingness to travel up to 20%.
* Ability to assess client needs and provide creative solutions.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL principles and SQL Server 2016+.
* Experience with Windows Server 2016+ (IIS, Active Directory).
* Mobile app development experience is a plus.
* Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus.
* Self-motivated with good prioritization and ownership skills.
* Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
* Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Strong planning and customer relationship skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Willingness to learn new technologies independently.
* Fluent in English; additional languages like German, Italian, Spanish, or French are a plus.
