Applications are invited from enthusiastic individuals wishing to join the team within the Cambridge Haemophilia and Thrombophilia Centre Specialist Haemostasis Unit. The unit provides a comprehensive repertoire of tests to the hospital trust, the Cambridge Comprehensive Care Haemophilia Centre and acts as a referral centre for Specialist Haemostasis testing for many other hospitals and organisations.
This is an exciting time to be joining the Haemostasis unit. The unit is located within a dedicated Haemophilia centre, working closely with the medical and nursing staff. The successful candidate will be a strong team player, they will also possess excellent communication skills and must be able to take responsibility for day-to-day planning and prioritising of workload.

Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities will include:
* Performs a range of routine healthcare science activities under supervision, e.g. sample preparation and storage
* Maintains clinical records in relation to activities carried out.
* To work flexibly in reflection of service needs
* The work of the service brings staff into constant contact with human body fluids, tissues and hazardous chemicals. This may include blood
