Full time Administrative Assistant required for busy commercial Surveyors office located in Blackpool. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working candidate to take on the role of administrator and audio typist to work as part of a small team in the survey department.
Duties will include:-
Answering the telephone and directing calls within the Company / accurate message taking
Preparation of survey property information packs - collating information relating to properties to be inspected.
Assisting Survey Manager in diary management.
Assist Survey Manager with procurement of stationery and supplies.
Audio typing of surveyors reports to a high standard (ad-hoc basis and to cover holiday periods).
Maintaining filing systems.
Other as-hoc duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the survey department.
The candidate must be:
Experienced in administration having previously worked in a busy office environment
Well-organised and pay great attention to detail
The candidate must have:
Audio typing experience
Computer skills: Excellent/ advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal & written.
Very good administration skills
Preferred Experience
Previous experience within the property sector preferred, although full training will be given.
Hours: hours per week to be negotiated. Must be able to cover afternoon to 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
Salary:
Meets requirement of NMW - salary to be agreed dependent upon experience.
