Senior IT Engineer - Escalations/Projects
Based at: Head Office Ipswich
Position reports to: Operations/Technical Manager

We’re looking for a Senior IT Engineer to join our growing team, supporting a diverse range of clients both remotely and on-site. If you thrive in a fast-paced MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment and love tackling technical challenges head-on, this could be the perfect role for you!
What You’ll Do:
1. Resolve Level 2 support tickets efficiently and effectively.
2. Provide on-site and remote support for clients, ensuring seamless IT operations.
3. Assist with project work, including deployments, migrations, and upgrades.
4. Work with Microsoft Cloud solutions (365/Azure), Windows Server, Hyper-V, and networking (firewalls/switching).
5. Manage backup solutions (Datto experience a plus!) and enforce IT security best practices.
6. Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues with a hands-on approach.
7. Use MSP tools to log and track all work with precision.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networking, virtualization).
2. Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and RDS.
3. Familiarity with backup solutions, security tools (MFA, password managers), and wireless tech.
4. A client-focused mindset – you’re committed to delivering outstanding service.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when needed.
6. Clear communication (both verbal and written) to explain tech in simple terms.
7. Microsoft certifications? A bonus, but not essential!
