As a result of several recent contract wins, we are on the hunt for a dynamic, quick-thinking and adaptable Social Media Manager to join our growing team and work across multiple accounts.
Job purpose
Working as part of the editorial team you will manage social media accounts for corporate clients.
As Social Media Manager, you will create, organise, and deliver high-performing social content, while managing audience engagements.
Roles and responsibilities
Management, content creation and scheduling across multiple social media platforms
Daily community management of all platforms and monthly reporting of all social media accounts, including reacting to content opportunities
Curation and execution of a full social media strategy
Ensure KPIs are met
Monthly reporting of all social media accounts
Continual competitor research to ensure a brands social activity is the best in class
Work with the design team to compile innovative social media content
Discover new ways to interact with followers
Skills
A strong writing style, with the ability to compose eye-catching and engaging content
A comprehensive understanding of the leading social media platforms, and emerging social trends, with an ability to adapt tone and style to fit each platform
Organised and proactive, with experience scheduling content and managing content calendars
Competent at analysing social metrics and providing insights
Qualifications
Graduates with relevant degrees in the arts, media, marketing or public relations are desirable. However, a lack of qualifications is not necessarily a barrier to entry if you can demonstrate strong interpersonal, writing and project management skills, a creative flair and an interest in social media.
Relevant experience
Previous experience in social media management
Experience of managing clients working for an agency
