About the Role
As a Science Technician, you will work within school science departments to support the teaching and learning of science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics). Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing, setting up, and maintaining laboratory equipment and materials
* Ensuring health & safety protocols are followed at all times
* Supporting teachers with practical demonstrations and experiments
* Maintaining stock and ordering supplies when necessary
* Cleaning and safely storing equipment after use
Requirements
We're looking for candidates who have:
* Previous experience working as a Science Technician in UK schools or laboratories
* A solid understanding of COSHH regulations and lab health & safety
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Flexibility and willingness to work across different schools when needed
