Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen or Inverness.
Salary: £43,704 - £51,484 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
As a Business Analyst, you will deliver reporting and insight for the SHEPD Customer Delivery and Operations teams, helping to drive performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
You will
* Proactively engage with stakeholders at all levels to highlight performance issues, adverse variances against forecast or budget, and opportunities for performance and process improvement, implementing automation and efficiencies where possible.
* Produce timely and accurate monthly reporting, alongside a wide range of performance reports covering delivery against targets, safety performance, productivity, and other key metrics as required.
* Maintain accountability for productivity awareness, building an understanding of efficiency drivers and identifying, measuring, and implementing actions to improve productivity outcomes.
* Support central reporting on productivity and delivery against targets across the business areas.
You have
* Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data and provide clear performance insights and process improvement recommendations to stakeholders.
* Proven experience using Power BI is essential.
* Be a collaborative team player with strong commercial awareness and a solid understanding of how a DNO operates, including revenue and incentive mechanisms within the current price control period.
* Demonstrable experience managing business plans and budgets to achieve financial targets, supported by strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience developing, monitoring, and reporting KPIs and/or contributing to external reporting is desirable.
