The Gateway is the premier venue in Seaton for arts, music, cinema and theatre. We are looking to recruit an experienced bookkeeper / accounts assistant, reporting to our manager, and ultimately responsible to the Trustees.
The successful candidate will preferably demonstrate experience in operating Xero accounting software and work well as part of a small team.
Duties include: –
Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
Generating and processing sales and purchase invoices
Managing payments and receipts including credit control
Bank reconciliations
Production of monthly profit and loss accounts for Trustees
Appropriate training and support will be provided to an otherwise suitable candidate without prior experience of Xero accounting software Salary and working hours.
