Overview
Community Academies Trust (CAT) is recruiting a Marketing and Communications Manager to lead and deliver impactful internal and external communications across the Trust. This role collaborates with schools to promote their identity, drive pupil admissions, and engage stakeholders through community action and digital innovation. You will work with the Trust Executive Team, Headteachers, and key stakeholders to promote schools’ identities while maintaining consistency with our values and messaging. You will identify and support grant and funding opportunities aligned with the Trust’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement impactful marketing and communications strategies.
* Create high quality promotional materials such as prospectuses, newsletters, and videos.
* Manage and enhance websites and social media platforms.
* Support internal communications to inform and inspire staff across the Trust.
* Support grant and funding applications with compelling marketing content and case studies.
* Collaborate with schools to deliver targeted pupil recruitment campaigns.
* Stay ahead of marketing trends and explore innovative tools, including AI.
About the Role
As our Marketing and Communications Manager, you will contribute to the development and delivery of innovative, Trust-wide activities that raise our profile, increase pupil admissions, and strengthen stakeholder engagement.
Who We’re Looking For
* Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, PR, journalism, or related field — or willingness to work towards it (support available).
* Minimum 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above).
* Proven experience in marketing or communications.
* Strong digital and social media skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Full UK driving licence.
* You may also have: graphic design or video production skills; knowledge of local and regional education landscapes.

Job Details
* Location: CAT Central Services Stoneydelph Primary School, Tamworth, Staffordshire
* Salary: £33,699 to £36,363 (Scale I, Points 22–25)
* Contract Type: Full Time, 37 hours/week, 52 weeks/year
* Start Date: As soon as possible
* Disclosure Level: Enhanced DBS required
Travel to schools within the Trust may be required.
