Housing Management Worker
Earn £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum) and great benefits including a Health Cash Plan.
Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), Monday to Friday – Leeds/Wakefield. We can’t offer a CoS for this role.
Home, a place where you belong. This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Worker to join our team in Leeds/Wakefield as a Housing and Property Specialist. You’ll support our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained, enabling them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts.

What you’ll do
* Ensure our customers’ properties are homes they can be proud of by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
* Help our customers with housing benefit claims, ensuring they are received on their rent account.
* Turn around vacant or void properties within set timescales – this may involve picking up a broom or paint brush.
* Carry out and record routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities to maintain compliance.
* Manage administrative tasks such as updating records, ordering, and arranging payment for works to be done.

You have
* A background in property management (not a deal breaker); experience with compliance and health and safety checks is a plus.
* A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help your customers.
* The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all backgrounds.
* Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
* Passion for property and a thrill in ensuring your properties are the best they can be for our customers.

The practical bits
* Based at our services in Leeds or Wakefield.
* Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims, and enrolling tenants.
* We support older people aged 55+ with varying care and support needs to live independently in their own home with peace of mind. We offer high‑quality living in over 60 beautifully designed apartments with a variety of on‑site facilities, including assistive technology.
* You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check; we will pay for it.
