We are passionate about promoting social inclusion for people living with dementia. We are looking for volunteers that will support people living with dementia to attend and participate in local pre-arranged social activities/groups. This role will be crucial in helping people to stay connected and engaged with their communities and reduce social isolation. This is a flexible role, with an expected commitment of around 8 hours per month. Volunteers should ideally be familiar with the areas of one or more of the following: Bishops Castle, Craven Arms, Clun, Church Stretton and Ludlow. This role will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Criminal Records Check from either the Disclosure and Barring Service (England & Wales), Disclosure Scotland Check (Scotland) or AccessNI (Northern Ireland).
