Job Description:
About The Role
TFG Brands is an ambitious and forward-thinking Retail Group. Since our arrival in the UK in 2015, we have grown to 4 great brands operating across the UK and in eight other international destinations. You may not know us but you will know our iconic brands: Phase Eight, Whistles, Hobbs, and Inside Story. We are excited about our future, which includes further brand extensions and the acquisition/launch of new brands into our portfolio. None of this is possible without great people, and we would love for you to be part of our journey. We are keen to hire a Financial Reporting Manager to join our team in SW18 on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
About The Role
As a Financial Reporting Manager in the TFG Accounting & Reporting team, you will be responsible for:
* Ownership of the delivery of monthly management accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy in reporting across all brands in the TFG Group, including revenue, COGS & margin, stock, logistics/stockholding costs, and marketing.
* Presenting results to senior finance management monthly, with detailed understanding of drivers and variance analysis.
* Delivering a timely and accurate financial statement close process each month, maintaining appropriate financial controls.
* Partnering with teams such as commercial finance, warehouse & stock control, buying & merchandising, brand & retail, ecommerce, marketing, and customer care to support operations with financial insights.
* Acting as the key contact during year-end audit and internal audit processes.
About You
To succeed as a Financial Reporting Manager, you should have:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification with demonstrated PQ development.
* Experience in a finance team within a retail or consumer product business, especially with stock experience.
* Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness.
* Experience managing a team and influencing stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
* Attention to detail and a results-focused mindset.
* Alignment with TFG values: We Care, We Create, We Collaborate, We Connect.
In return, we offer a competitive salary and benefits including staff discounts, virtual GP and wellbeing services, financial support, early pay options, and gym memberships.
