Position Overview
We are recruiting a Parts Advisor for our Volkswagen dealership in Worcester. The role involves working Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 18:00, with Saturdays on a rota basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual passionate about providing exceptional customer service for one of the world's leading car brands.
Responsibilities
1. Handling diverse tasks including receiving deliveries and serving customers at the front desk.
2. Pre-picking parts for workshop jobs, fulfilling customer orders, and checking stock availability.
3. Developing customer relationships through inbound/outbound calls, walk-ins, and internet enquiries by providing product knowledge and first-class service.
4. Replenishing consumables and service parts to ensure swift service to workshops and customers.
5. Processing warranty claims related to parts and completing administrative tasks accurately, including customer records and invoicing.
6. Gaining knowledge of VW products to understand vehicle parts and their functions.
Candidate Profile
* Experience as a parts advisor in a dealership or motor factor knowledge in a similar role is preferred.
* Alternatively, a good understanding of cars and willingness to learn is acceptable.
* Ability to build rapport quickly with customers.
* Proactive, sales-driven, and committed to outstanding customer service.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
* Professional attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.
