* Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
* Ensure adherence to MIL‑STD, DEF STAN, and other relevant defence documentation and testing standards.
* Coordinate engineering change requests (ECRs) and ensure configuration control is maintained.
* Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and project delivery.
* Work independently and autonomously while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.
* Oversee and support activities related to fire suppression systems, including requirements validation, compliance assessment, integration considerations, and safety documentation.
* Ensure all project activities align with defence safety frameworks, including hazard identification, risk mitigation, and compliance with safety‑critical engineering processes.
What You Will Need
* An engineering qualification such as HNC, HND, or BEng.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering engineering projects within defence, aerospace, or other safety‑regulated industries.
* Awareness or experience of engineering practices within regulated, safety‑critical environments, including exposure to fire suppression technologies or safety‑related subsystems.
