Pay: £90–£110 per day (PAYE – no umbrella companies)

We’re building a strong talent pool of confident, compassionate TAs who can support students with Autism, PMLD, and a range of additional learning needs within specialist provisions for ages 11–19. Every day will be different, and every day you’ll be making a genuine impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Supporting students with Autism and PMLD in 1:1, small-group, and classroom settings
2. Helping with communication, engagement, sensory regulation, and daily routines
3. Creating a nurturing, structured learning space where students feel safe and understood
4. Using visual supports, personalised strategies, and specialist approaches (training provided)
5. Assisting with academic tasks, life skills, and emotional development
6. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support teams to keep progress consistent
What We’re Looking For
7. Experience supporting young people (SEND or PMLD experience is a bonus but not essential)
8. Confidence working with students who have Autism and complex needs
9. A patient, gentle, and resilient approach
10. Great communication and a genuine passion for helping young people thrive
11. Willingness to obtain or update an enhanced DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
