Position: Breakfast Chef
Location: White Horse Bar & Restaurant, East Runton, Cromer
Working Hours: 06:30 – 11:30 / 5-6 days per week
Pay rate: Negotiable wage depending on experience
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our seasonal Kitchen team at White Horse Bar & Restaurant. As a Breakfast Chef, your will play a critical role in the Breakfast service, managing a team and maintaining the high-standard dining experience our guests expect in the morning.
Responsibilities:
* Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes in addition to preparing fish and meat.
* Assisting the senior chefs in creating menu items, recipes and development.
* Management of the junior chefs.
* Assisting with health & safety and food hygiene practices.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
* Being punctual and working well under pressure.
* Can responsibly ensure correct labelling in the kitchen and thorough stock rotation.
Requirements:
1. Good technique, seasonality and menu knowledge.
2. Is able to correctly set up and prep in all sections, including running their own station.
3. Expertise in preparing breakfast service from a menu.
4. Develops good working relationships with all colleagues within the Bar and Restaurant and contributes fully to the workload.
