Job title: Trainee Administrator

A forward thinking company who have won multiple awards are looking for a trainee administrator to join their experienced team to start or develop their career within Pension Administration. The company combine advanced technology with a personal and client driven approach.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
* Producing calculations of member benefits which vary from scheme to scheme; as you gain more experience and skills, the calculations will become more complex
* Preparing letters to members, clients and advisors
* Updating databases and data files and using verification processes to check that data has been entered accurately
* Keeping records up to date and in order
* Communicating with pension scheme members and clients, dealing with general telephone enquiries on a daily basis
Key skills and experience
* You will have excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with numerical information
* Educated to A Level or Degree (or equivalent), including Maths GCSE
* Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, along with an inquisitive mindset to learn new technology
* Confident communication skills and a strong team player
* A flexible and pro‑active mindset are a must for this role as you will continue to learn and develop throughout your career
* The ability to manage and organise your day to day priorities
* You will be willing to study for professional exams
