We are looking for someone to join our Data Centre Engineering team to complete statutory and non-statutory maintenance to electrical systems including air con / cooling systems.
The individual will have a keen eye for detail and a pro‑active attitude towards their duties. Will have good communication skills, is able to work as part of a team as well as managing their own workload and time management.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete statutory and non‑statutory maintenance of critical electrical assets
* Respond to issues in an efficient manner to maintain business SLA’s
* Complete and document fault finding as part of root cause analysis
* Report and track issues via the appropriate management tool
* Keep management and other departments up to date at all times
* Promote and adhere to health and safety requirements
* Assist Operations and Security Staff as required
We are looking for
* 18th Edition
* HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
* Previous experience of working in a Facilities organisation within a critical environment
* Knowledge of High Voltage systems
* Knowledge of statutory maintenance legislation
* Requirements for Electrical Installations
* Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing
* Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification
* Refrigeration and Air‑conditioning
* Heating and Ventilating
* 33 days annual leave
