The Community Treatment & Care Service will provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive effective treatment room service to individuals within a primary care treatment & care room setting whilst also working in partnership with other wider members of the primary care team.
The post holder will work collaboratively under the remit of the Community Treatment & Care services (CTAC) and assist in skilled clinical interventions and the implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for patients and their carers. You will support the Community Treatment Room Nursing Staff/ District Nurse or their deputy to deliver safe and effective patient care within a community/ clinic setting, mainly without direct supervision. This new and exciting service also provides a Phlebotomy service to residents of Renfrewshire within a clinic environment and within their own homes contributing to health improvement initiatives for both individuals and families
The post holder will berequired to work flexibly in terms of location geographically within the HSCP to support other areas of teams working within the local CTAC / District Nursing service.
It is desirable that you have an SVQ Level 3 in healthcare or equivalent experience and are a car driver.
Driving licence is required
