Position: Recruitment Officer Rate: £21.15 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35) Contract Duration: Temporary (3 Months) Possible Extension Working Arrangement: Hybrid Job Purpose: Working within the Agency & Recruitment Team, you will provide a full end-to-end recruitment service to hiring managers across the Council. Job Duties: Managing vacancy postings and recruitment enquiries. Coordinating pre-employment checks and screening. Supporting applicants and new starters. Using HR and recruitment systems to deliver an efficient service. Job Requirements: Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation. Previous experience in a similar recruitment/HR role. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
