Job Description: Sealing & Packing Team Leader
Position: Sealing & Packing Team Leader Location: Sittingbourne – COOK Pastry & Pies
Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm
Salary: £28,626.00 per year
The Role
* Product Quality & Accuracy: Oversee sealing, sleeving, and boxing processes to meet accuracy, speed, and presentation standards.
* Verify that all products are correctly frozen, and ensure x-ray machines and metal detectors are appropriately set.
* Compliance & Record Keeping: Confirm that all products meet target weights (a legal obligation) and ensure corresponding paperwork is completed accurately and legibly.
* Manage and maintain freezer operations, ensuring blast freezers are defrosted as required.
* Process Verification: Ensure labels and sleeves are correct before sleeving and that all packaging aligns with product specifications.
* Leadership & Team Management: Lead and support the sealing and packing team to achieve daily targets while fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
