Support Worker Role
We are seeking permanent Support Workers to work 27 or 30 hours per week. Ideal candidates are motivated, enthusiastic, creative team players committed to providing high-quality support. These roles are based in Wyton (between Huntingdon and St Ives, Cambridgeshire).
Candidates should be confident in undertaking personal care tasks and willing to work with individuals who may challenge. The role involves working across services including both respite and supported living to meet service needs.
Benefits include regular supervision, annual appraisals, excellent training opportunities (including face-to-face training and access to our Grey Matters training portal). Staff meetings are held once a month. The role requires working a mixture of shifts, including early and late shifts, and every other weekend. Enhancements are paid for unsocial hours and weekends. There is also an opportunity to work additional hours as a Relief Support Worker.
Qualifications and Experience
* Level 2 Care Certificate in Health and Social Care, with a willingness to undertake further qualifications.
* Previous experience in a person-centered care setting.
* Ability to work independently, as lone working is sometimes required, with procedures in place to ensure safety.
