Group Catering Manager - Walthamstow
£40,000 per annum
(42 Weeks per Year)
We are seeking an experienced and driven Group Manager to lead our catering operations in Walthamstow. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled hospitality professional with a strong craft background who is looking for a rewarding, work–life balanced role within a structured environment.
The Role As Group Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the catering operations, consisting of one primary and one secondary school, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, freshly prepared food and exceptional service standards. You will lead, develop, and motivate your team while maintaining strong financial and operational control.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day catering operations
Deliver high-quality, fresh food with a strong focus on craft skills
Manage budgets, stock control, and costings effectively
Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety standards
Recruit, train, and develop your team
Build positive relationships with stakeholders and clients
About You Strong craft background (essential)
Previous management experience within catering or hospitality
Schools or education sector experience preferred, but not essential
Excellent leadership and organisational skills
Financially astute with experience managing budgets
Passionate about food quality and service excellence
